Updated 20th September: HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro has been announced today. After the launch of HTC 10 (flagship device) in May 2016, HTC is ready to bring more variants in coming months. Recently HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro has been floated over the web providing a hint that the officials will soon unveil both the devices. There has been enough information about Desire 10 Lifestyle including its key specifications, but Desire 10 Pro is still a mysterious device till now. The Pro variant will be getting better specs as compared to Lifestyle model which will be powered by semi mid-range hardware.

Coming back to Desire 10 Lifestyle, it will feature a 5.5-inches IPS display which will carry a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM. The internal storage will be limited to 32GB with support for microSD card for further expansion. Like other mid-range HTC devices, Desire 10 Lifestyle will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

HTC has always known for good sound and camera, and Desire 10 Lifestyle is no exception. It will come with Boomsound Hi-Fi Edition stereo speakers for high-quality music experience. To capture special moments, it is equipped with a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera. The other details like CPU, GPU and battery are still not known.

It is expected that the phone will have above average build quality with metal rims and premium quality hybrid material for rest of the body. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle will come with dual SIM slots and support for both 3G and 4G networks. The other notable features will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The device will be missing fingerprint sensors, but we can expect it in the Pro variant.

Going through the features, it seems that these devices will focus more on sound quality rather than performance. So it will be quite exciting to know the pricing details of these devices and how the mobile market will react to these new smartphones.
